Bedrock Essentials+ Addon

Mods / Mods 26 [1.26]

Instead of downloading ten different small utility mods and praying they don't conflict with each other, Bedrock Essentials+ basically rolls every major quality-of-life upgrade into one massive, cohesive package. It completely overhauls the tedious parts of vanilla survival. By just holding the sneak button, you activate a fully functional Tree Capitator and Vein Miner, allowing you to instantly clear massive jungle trees or entire diamond veins in a single swing. But the pack goes way beyond just breaking blocks. It adds the ability to open double doors simultaneously just by clicking the bottom half, lets you easily repair anvils, automatically replants your crops, and even sends your exact death coordinates to your chat so you never lose your dropped gear again. There is even a built-in flashlight mechanic, and if you have a Silk Touch pickaxe, you can actually break and safely transport mob spawners.

The creator, Gáo, also included some incredibly handy automation features that you can toggle on and off at any time using custom chat commands. If you type `/ats enable`, the game will automatically switch to the correct tool in your hotbar when you look at a block, and typing `/pickup enable` will activate an auto-pickup system to easily manage your dropped loot. Because this add-on heavily relies on these custom chat commands, complex block-breaking math, and player tracking for the death coordinates, it functions as a heavy behavior pack. As a direct result, applying this to your world will permanently disable your Xbox Live achievements. You also absolutely must go into your world settings and toggle on the Beta APIs Experimental Gameplay feature before launching your save. If you skip that developer switch, the custom commands and auto-mining scripts simply will not initialize.

When it comes to performance, rolling all of these scripts into a single compiled add-on is actually much better for your game's memory than running ten separate packs side-by-side, but you still need to respect your hardware limits. Features like the double doors, auto-replanting, and death coordinates run flawlessly in the background without causing any lag. However, the Vein Miner and Tree Capitator are where you might feel a stutter on older devices. If you are playing on a high-end PC or a modern console, you can sneak and instantly obliterate a massive tree without dropping a single frame. But if you are playing on a budget smartphone, destroying a massive chunk of blocks all at once and instantly calculating the durability cost and item drops can cause a noticeable lag spike. The flashlight feature is also functional but deliberately kept a bit visually dim to prevent constant light-update lag as you move through caves. Overall, it is easily one of the most comprehensive vanilla-plus upgrades you can throw on a survival world.
