Compressy Mod — when your chests are crying and your base is turning into a storage warehouse, this adds a clean compression system so your resources take up way less space.
Compressy Mod is all about making big survival worlds feel manageable once you hit that stage where you’re swimming in materials. If you run any kind of farm, do long mining sessions, or just build a lot, you know the problem: cobble and random drops multiply faster than your patience, and suddenly half your base is double chests. Compressy fixes that by adding an extended compression system for both blocks and items, letting you pack huge quantities into smaller stacks and keep your storage tight. It’s the kind of addon that doesn’t change the vibe of Minecraft Bedrock/MCPE gameplay, it just makes the “where do I put all this?” part way less annoying.
On the block side, Compressy introduces compressed variants for almost every block in the game. Most blocks can be compacted up to a Quadruple level, which is perfect when you’re dealing with stuff like building blocks, mined stone, or anything you gather in bulk and don’t want scattered across ten chests. The standout is cobblestone, because it can reach Nonuple compression, which is clearly aimed at the reality that cobble is basically the most common “I don’t know what to do with this anymore” resource in the whole game. That kind of high-volume compression matters when you’re strip mining, running big smelting setups, or just grinding for resources while watching something on a second screen. Instead of building a whole storage wing just for cobble, you can compress it and keep your main storage area clean and readable.
Item compression is the other half of the win, because the mess isn’t only blocks. Compressy supports compression for a bunch of commonly collected items like dyes, sticks, blaze and breeze rods, mob drops, and other frequently gathered materials. That’s huge for survival because those are exactly the items that sneakily eat your inventory space: you do one long session and suddenly you’ve got half-stacks of random drops everywhere. With compressed forms, you can keep things organized without needing a million labeled chests, and your inventory stays usable when you’re out exploring or building. Compressy Mod is basically a storage upgrade for Minecraft Bedrock that rewards grindy worlds, big farms, and long-term saves by making “resource bloat” feel like something you can actually control.
