Palcraft Addon

Trying to staple monster-catching mechanics into Minecraft usually feels like a clunky reskin of vanilla taming, but Palcraft actually reconstructs the core gameplay loop of Palworld. You aren't just feeding wheat to a reskinned cow; you are crafting capture spheres, weakening powerful creatures in active combat, and throwing them out to fight alongside you. The add-on goes beyond simple battling by integrating the Pals into your actual survival progression. You can capture different species with unique elemental abilities, use them as ridable mounts for fast exploration, and have them assist with the heavy lifting around your base. It completely shifts the tone of the game from standard block-mining survival into a frantic, open-world creature-collection RPG.
Because this add-on injects massive amounts of custom AI, new items, and complex capture mechanics into the game code, the standard Bedrock modding rules hit hard. The moment you apply this behavior and resource pack to your world, Xbox Live achievements are permanently disabled. You will not be earning any Gamerscore while hunting Pals. Furthermore, getting the custom spheres and entity models to function requires mandatory setup in your menus. Before you hit play, you must dive into your world settings and toggle on Experimental Gameplay features, making absolutely sure the Beta APIs are active. If you skip these developer toggles, the capture spheres won't work, the custom UI will break, and the Pals will either fail to spawn or render as completely broken geometry.
Hardware performance is the main bottleneck, especially once your collection starts growing. Injecting dozens of custom-modeled entities with unique combat animations and complex pathfinding routines puts a massive strain on the Bedrock engine. Modern desktop PCs and current-gen consoles will handle the chaos of a multi-Pal firefight without breaking a sweat. However, players on older budget smartphones and low-end tablets need to be extremely careful. Packing too many active Pals into a single area—especially if they are all running custom idle animations or engaging in combat with heavy particle effects—will cause severe tick lag, frame stuttering, and rapid thermal throttling on a mobile GPU. To keep your portable device from overheating, store your inactive Pals when you aren't using them and keep your render distance dialed back.
